To give you the freedom to make Intle truly yours, weddings require exclusive use of the hotel for two nights (Friday & Saturday).

This ensures complete privacy, time to prepare, and uninterrupted access to the entire property for your celebration.

We’re in Thornhill on a 600-hectare private reserve, near Jeffreys Bay and about an hour from Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth).

On-site accommodation

Intle Boutique Hotel offers 9 luxury rooms, accommodating up to 20 guests on site (typically the bridal party and close family).

Additional guests are comfortably hosted at carefully selected nearby lodges and guesthouses, with transport logistics coordinated by your wedding planner.

Do you offer weekend wedding packages?

Yes—most couples make it a Friday to Sunday celebration with welcome dinners, ceremony & reception, and a relaxed send-off brunch.

Is there on-site photo variety?

Absolutely—panoramic viewpoints, fynbos, decks and unique wildlife moments (including giraffe) make magical photos.

What animals might guests see?

Intle’s reserve is home to giraffe, zebra, impala, kudu and other free-roaming wildlife. Guests can walk, cycle or take photos among them—there are no dangerous predators, so it feels wild yet tranquil.

How many guests can you host?

We host weddings of up to around 100 guests, with most couples choosing a celebration of about 60 guests for the most relaxed and intimate flow.

Our nine on-site rooms accommodate up to 20 guests (typically the bridal party and close family), with carefully selected nearby accommodation arranged for the remaining guests to ensure a seamless wedding weekend.

Do you have indoor and outdoor ceremony options?

Absolutely. Exchange vows on our panoramic viewing deck overlooking the Eastern Cape hills, beneath acacia trees surrounded by nature, or inside our elegant modern interior—perfect for any season or weather. Each space delivers a timeless backdrop tailored to your style.

Do you provide catering and bar services?

Intle Boutique Hotel is open to the public for dining, spa and sunset visits, but when you book your wedding, we reserve the entire boutique hotel exclusively for you and your guests for two nights. This ensures complete privacy, uninterrupted service, and a truly VIP atmosphere — from welcome drinks on arrival to your farewell brunch. It transforms your celebration into a private wedding weekend, not just a one-day event.
